Original Omni Pole and Shelf Installation Card (2 sided 8 1/2″ x 3 1/2″) – Omni Shelving Installation Instruction Card
I have a omni system … I am finally starting get it of the floor… I am short 6 hooks
Wondering if you still have any
Great web site. Very helpful
Hi Peter! Thanks for your comments! I do have a few hooks, but I’m going to send you to eBay to purchase the all metal hooks that are being sold by a machine shop in Santa Cruz. http://www.ebay.com/itm/George-Nelson-mid-century-Omni-wall-system-mounting-bracket-hardware-hook-only-/262764889895?hash=item3d2e020727:g:TCsAAOSwiylXCAXU. They charge $25 each which is what I charge and they are a one-piece computer machined part vs. my hand made.
Best of luck and happy New Year!!
I am not at home at this moment, but I believe that I have more instructions than your web page shows. If so, I will scan and email it to you to be posted on your web site. But the real reason that I even got here is that I am moving from a house with normal ceiling height ( i.e., the spring at the top of the pole worked just fine) to a new house with 12′ (that’s right = twelve foot) ceilings Do you have any of your brackets available? If not will the ones from lode advertised on eBay at least do the job. My system has two bays, three poles, one 4-drawer desk cabinet, several bookshelves and a white laminate 6′ desk. Many thanks in advance, and have a great holiday.
Thank you Joseph! I’d love to post any additional information you may have for all to see and use. I’m no longer making the support brackets or the Omni hardware, as some professional metal workers have seen the demand and are manufacturing the scarce pieces I started to supply several years ago. They’ve set their prices close enough to what I would sell it for and seem to have good supply. I wouldn’t start back making any of them unless the prices got too high and their customers were being overcharged. So for now, I just make whatever parts my wife and friends need for their Omni systems.
Best of luck and warm wishes for the New Year in your new home!
